Writer | Editor | Designer
My name is Jillian Smith, and I'm an award-winning journalist and writer, editor and designer. I am experienced in curating content for hybrid products across multiple platforms, streamlining workflow and working with clients and teams to ensure quality products on tight deadlines.
I wrote my first stories when I was 7 years old, and I haven't stopped. Throughout my 20-year professional career, I've written and edited for newspapers, magazines, anthologies and digital platforms. My works include fiction, nonfiction, advertorial, columns, and news, feature and enterprise reporting. I learned photography on the job, along with digital editing and design for newsprint, glossy and online.
